Rishabh Pant is reportedly making a remarkable recovery after a car crash and is now believed to be facing deliveries with speeds exceeding 140 kmph at the NCA (National Cricket Academy) nets in Bengaluru.

He has been posting updates of his recovery on social media to keep his fans informed about the progress.

After starting with throwdowns, Pant's progress has impressed the medical staff, with the wicket-keeper-batsman now taking on faster deliveries comfortably.

However, larger and quicker body movements remain a challenge for Pant, according to a report in Revsportz. But the medical staff and trainers are confident that he will gradually get there in the next couple of months.

“Rishabh has been making a fine recovery. He has started to take on deliveries with speed excess to 140 kmph. We all are delighted with the way he has been crossing every hurdle in his recovery. He is keeping well. His next target will be to focus on larger and quicker body movements, which we aim to achieve in the next couple of months,” revealed a source at the NCA to Revsportz.

Rishabh Pant's recovery process is encouraging for Indian cricket fans. He has been diligently working on his rehabilitation and making significant strides towards a potential return to international cricket. While facing deliveries with speeds exceeding 140 kmph is an excellent sign, the focus remains on further progress in larger and quicker body movements.

The aim is to prepare him for a potential comeback in the Test series against England in January 2024. However, making it to the World Cup squad seems unlikely due to the time required for a complete recovery.
